Descriptions
Offers an assistance center that informs mobile homeowners and tenants about their rights. Also handles complaint reports about mobile home issues. Answers questions about permit requirements, modular lease, sales, or rent. Assists with mobile home registration, tilting, and ownership documents. Also assists with installation, inspections, maintenance, or alteration of a mobile home. Offers guidance on compensation for a fraudulent mobile home sale. Other services provided include:
- Information on the Mobile home Residency Law and where to get help for lease or rent disputes with park management
- Offers information about Health or safety issues in mobile home park such as unsafe sewer, water, electrical, or gas conditions
- Assists with complaints against misrepresentation, escrow violations, contract disputes, advertising, or non-receipt of title
