Descriptions
Provides support for pregnant women who wish to voluntarily terminate their parental rights to a child and provide consent for adoption. Services include:
- Information about adoption
- Assistance in locating supportive resources
- Support in choosing a family to adopt their child.
Also provides support for families who are looking to adopt domestically or internationally. Offers pre-placement counseling and resoufce referrals for if the birth mother lives in California. If birth mother lives outside of California, coordinates with adoption professionals in her area and provide CA-ICPC administration services, post-placement visits, and reports.
Eligibility
Expectant mothers and fathers who wish to voluntarily terminate their parental rights to a child for adoption.
