Descriptions
Provides eligible older adults a nutritionally balanced meal at Senior Centers and various satellite sites. Meals are served by a network of providers located throughout A12AA's Planning & Service Area. Nutrition options include:
Congregate Nutrition Program: Offer nutritional meals to adults age 60 and older and their spouses. The Senior Centers offer socialization opportunities, exercise, and a variety of other life-enhancing programs.
Home Delivered Meal Program: If determined eligible, hot and/or frozen nutritional meals will be delivered to the older adults.
Eligibility
-Congregate Meals must be adults age 60 or older and their spouses
-Home Delivered Meal Program individuals must be age 60 or older or be the spouse of an age 60 or older participant who resides within the PSA and has an impairment that would prevent attendance at a congregate nutrition center.
