Descriptions
Provides individualized in-home parenting support, educational parenting workshops, and year-round basic parenting classes. Also assists individuals in finding local resources that can help meet their family's needs. In-home support topics include:
- Managing stressful times
- Learning to have developmentally appropriate expectations of your child
- Creating a safe and secure environment in the home
- Creating empathetic and trusting relationships within the family
- Understanding why you parent the way you do
