Program: COVID-19 VACCINE INFORMATION

Descriptions

Provides information about the COVID-19 vaccine and distribution timeline to Tuolumne County residents.

Tuolumne County's plan for distribution:
Now vaccinating those age 6 months and older. Residents 18 and older are eligible for Moderna, Pfizer, and J&J vaccines. Those 6 months to 17 years old are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine and Moderna vaccine ONLY at this time, with parent/guardian permission. Who MAY get a COVID-19 vaccine booster at this time
Everyone ages 5 and older may get a COVID-19 Booster Shot. If it has been six months or more since your second dose of Pfizer or Moderna, or two months or more since your first dose of Johnson & Johnson, you may get your booster. Those 17 and younger are eligible for the Pfizer booster vaccine and Moderna booster vaccine ONLY at this time, with parent/guardian permission.

Adults ages 50 years and older and some people ages 12 years and older who are moderately or severely immunocompromised may get a second booster.

Register for the vaccine:
Eligible residents may now register online on the MyTurn webpage or call the CA COVID-19 Hotline at 1-833-422-4255 (Mon-Fri 8am-8pm, Sat-Sun 8am-5pm) for assistance. Also view available walk-in vaccine clinics. Individuals may also call the Warm Line and leave a message to schedule an appointment.
