Descriptions
Provides minor home repairs and home safety modifications. To homeowners aged 60 and older. Helps improve the accessibility, safety, and livability of their homes. Repairs have no cost. Priority is given to those who are frail, isolated, and with the greatest economic need. Home repair includes, but is not limited to:
- Grab bar installation
- Step and handrail repair
- Barrier-free door handle installation
- Minor plumbing repairs
Eligibility
Must be resident of Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Mariposa, or Tuolumne counties
Must own the home and be at least 60 years of age
Priority is given to those who are frail, isolated, and with greatest economic need
