Descriptions
Offers a supplemental nutrition program for low- to moderate-income, pregnant or breast-feeding people, as well as infants and children under five years of age (including foster children). Participants receive benefits for food and nutrition education monthly to help them achieve and maintain good health. It also provides guidance, support, and education for prenatal people considering breastfeeding, and postpartum women who have chosen to breastfeed their infant.

Please Note: The main Tuolumne County WIC program site is located in the Public Health Department in Sonora, with satellite clinics offered in Tuolumne City on the 3rd Thursday of odd months (January, March, May, July, September, and November) from 9a-12p at the Community Resiliency Center at 18241 Bay Avenue in Tuolumne and in Groveland on the 3rd Thursday of even months from 9:30a-1pm at the Groveland Library at 18990 Highway 120 in Groveland. Eligibility
- All foster children under five years old who meet eligibility requirements
- Breastfeeding women up to one year postpartum
- All documented/undocumented persons in a family who meet eligibility requirements (their application or legal status will not be jeopardized in any way)
- Grandparents or guardians may receive vouchers for eligible infants and children under five
- Infants and children under five years old
- Non-breastfeeding women up to six months postpartum
- Pregnant women
- Single fathers may receive vouchers for eligible infants / children
